Biographical Information

Brad began the practice of law in 1984 with the Johnson County District Attorney's Office. Over the next five years, Brad tried 35 jury trials ranging from property crimes to serious drug offenses and capital murder. In addition to his work with the District Attorney's Office, Brad also served as a frequent lecturer at the Johnson County Police Academy.

In November of 1989, Brad left the Johnson County District Attorney's Office and joined Logan & Logan. Brad has represented a number of small businesses in both Kansas and Missouri and has built a strong reputation as a passionate advocate for the physicians, surgeons and healthcare providers throughout Kansas and Missouri. His experience includes defense work in all types of medical malpractice cases including emergency medicine, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery and numerous other specialties. Brad has also defended clients owning skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Kansas, Missouri and Illinois.

Brad taught trial advocacy as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Kansas Law School for a number of years and served as an Edgerton Municipal Court Judge for nine years. He presently serves as a municipal court judge for the City of Prairie Village, Kansas.

Brad's litigation work has produced a number of published cases, both in the area of criminal law and civil litigation. Brad has tried 30 civil cases in both Kansas and Missouri since joining the firm. He became the third named partner for the firm in 2007.

Brad has raised two boys and makes his home in Mission Hills, Kansas.
