In May 2013, Jeff Brown was a featured speaker at the 63rd Annual Postgraduate Symposium on Anesthesiology sponsored by the University of Kansas Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology and University of Kansas Medical Center Continuing Education. The presentation entitled “Medical-Legal Encounters and the Anesthesia Professional” explored general risk management techniques as a means of increasing patient safety and reducing the risk of medical malpractice exposure for anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
