In September 2016, Scott Logan and Chris Logan were invited to speak at the Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Company (“OMIC”) annual regional seminar at Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri. The presentation entitled “Medico-legal issues of the electronic health record: an attorney and OMIC risk management perspective” explored general risk management issues related to electronic health records and reducing the risk of professional malpractice exposure through good charting practices.
